As a famous luxury brand, Hermes has changed from the object of an old person’s nostalgia to the subject of young peoples’ dreams. Hermes handbags have been thrown into the focus of people and having a Hermes handbag is what fashion-conscious people seek for.
More people tend to possess a Hermes handbag, more fake Hermes handbags are poured into market. How could we distinguish genuine from false? How could we be a wise purchaser? Here are some tips for you.
1. Letter “H” in detail
In the canvas bags of Hermes, you could clearly see the letter “H” in the handles, buttons, and zippers. Since they are finished in one operation during the weaving process, the cost of manufacture is very expensive. As you can see in the photo, the metal zipper of this Hermes handbag has also been printed with the letter “H”. Therefore, printed with the letter “H” is a way to test whether it is genuine or fake. But it is not a key factor to distinguish because before 1965, some products of Hermes didn’t being printed with the letter “H”.
2. Look at the lines
When you get closer to look at the canvas bags of Hermes, you would find that the weaving method is not as simple as Plain weave. You could notice that Hermes canvas bags are made of two different alternate weaving methods. This is one of the reasons that Hermes handbags are so expensive.
3. Pay attention to the serial number
It is worth mentioning that Hermes handbags carry forward the traditional manufacturing of refined elegance. Hermes does not use assembly lines. Only one craftsman may work on one handbag at a time, hand-stitching each individual piece. Therefore, every handbag would have a unique serial number, which not only provides the information of the product, but also means a cultural symbol of Hermes, the symbol of identity and elegant fashion. Not only handbags can show a women’s lifestyle, there are many other accessories like jewelleries, glasses or luxury Hermes watches. For its high price, much women choose to buy high quality replicas for saving money. In my opinion, watchlux.com is a great platform to buy these replica watches, its cheap but high quality, you can go and have a look.

Ever noticed that in lots of films from Superman to the Die Hard series of films the US based watchmaker Hamilton has placed its precision watches around the wrist of many a star of Hollywood?
Any person with even a minor interest in action and adventure themed movies are sure to have in their film watching leisure time spotted at least a handful of the celebrated H-branded watches come into view onscreen.
The watch business is just as involved as the soft drink industry or the clothing fashion houses in spending major sums on opportunities for the placement of products.
But few Hamilton rivals can have enjoyed quite as much onscreen coverage as Hamilton watches. Blockbusters as different as Kubrik’s 2001:A Space Odyssey, Lethal Weapon and the Spiderman movie have included Hamilton watches as film accessories.
This year Hamilton has taken its affinity with the film world a step further by giving the archetypal screen star the ultimate mission - to save the planet. The celebrated Hollywood actor Harrison Ford has hung up his whip after what is considered the last Indiana Jones movie to take up his newest challenge - tackling threats to the environment. Ford spent close to two decades as a leading light at not-for-profit global body Conservation International.
In light of this - and its ties with Hollywood - Hamilton Watches has placed its cash where its mouth is to create the Khaki Conservation range.
Instead of Tokyo and London, the lines second time zone function refers to places on earth where safeguarding a dying habitat is vital like Indonesia.
Ford’s popular appeal among movie fans is not lost on the Hamilton marketing gurus, who boast “a touch of edgy dynamism” and features which adhere to “every heroic stunt’s” dependency on exactitude.
Meanwhile, the watch - designed in part by Ford - comes with a plush leather strap and is topped off with the actors signature and logo of Conservation International.
Hamilton has made a financial commitment to help the conservation cause and utilises recycled packaging.
Maybe more interestingly for film buffs, this classically-designed watch, featuring bold numbers set against a black backdrop is reminiscent of the land of adventure explored by Indiana Jones.
Those who relished Indiana Jones battles against fierce tribesmen and Nazi baddies will feel kinship by choosing the Hamilton Khaki Conservation.
Fortunately parties interested in watches need not go on a Jones-style hunt to get a Hamilton watch.
It is obtainable online at the Hamilton official site, although it is worth searching the internet for a more competitive price. Sites such as hotwatches.co.uk also stock the limited edition model and other Hamilton watches.

Cartier SA is a luxury wristwatch maker and jeweler placed in Paris, France. The family business was launched in 1847 in Paris by Louis-Françoise Cartier. During the next decades, his son Alfred Cartier and later on his nephews Pierre, Jacques and Louis developed Cartier to a well-known worldwide brand.
“Santos” – the 1st wristwatch ever was produced by Louis Cartier
The breakthrough of the brand Cartier happened in 1904, when Louis constructed a tiny timepiece for Alberto Santos-Dumont, a Brazilian airman and friend of the family. The wrist watch was called “Santos” and made history as Cartiers 1st man’s wristwatch – and the first wrist watch ever. Their clients have been very pleased as well with the practical timepiece.
Louis was responsible for lots of the well-known and successful designs of the brand. He developed the so called “mystery clocks”, for instance. These watches have a transparent dial and their clockworks are invisible. Another beautiful innovation of Louis was an exotic wrist watch including multicoloured jewels named “Tutti Frutti”.
The Cartier Tank wristwatch has now more than thirty variations
Already in 1907, Cartier was quickly evolving and had subsidiaries in St. Petersburg, London and New York. The company was evolving into one of the world’s most successful wrist watch companies. A special highlight in the history of Cartier was a waterproof wrist watch made mainly for the Pasha of Marrakesh in 1932. Fifteen years earlier, Louis designed the “Cartier Tank watch”. This watch is still the most famous clock of the company and has today more than thirty varieties.
At this time, the company began printing reference numbers on the underside of the watches. The presence of these “four-digit-codes” is proving the watches’ originality. The company kept growing and in 1964, Jean-Jacques, Claude and Marionne (the children of Jacques, Louis and Pierre) sold the entire business.
A new concept – “Les Must de Cartier”
The new proprietors – a group of various investors – started to design new products that should keep the quality of Cartiers wristwatches in the past. The new concept was called “Les Must de Cartier (Cartier – it is a must!)”. At present, Bernard Fornas is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Cartier. The headquarter of the company is still placed in Paris, France. Cartier is seen as the no. two seller of luxurious wrist watches behind Rolex. In addition to that, Cartier is the worldwide no. one seller of luxurious jewels. Mens watches

From pocket watch to a fashion accessory. What was once, in the earliest years of portable watches, considered to be unsuitable for gentlemen and only for ladies, has grown nowadays into a fashion utensil that everybody has. Meanwhile, the wristwatch is no longer just a instrument to tell which time it is. It is a designer piece and can indicate much more than the time.
A great deal of mechanics in a small housing
The first confirmable portable timepiece was built in 1500. This was not a wristwatch, but more of a pocket watch. Through technical progress, which made it possible for people to house mechanics in an more and more smaller space, the needed pieces of the clockworks were able to be brought into a manageable form. In this way, the first pocket watch was born, which at the time was still the size of an egg.
The computerized wrist watch from Japan
A totally different watch came onto the market in the 1970’s from Japan, which had built its own watch industry. The new wristwatch from Japan was no longer set on a mechanical basis, but on a computerized control. This wristwatch extended its range of capacity rapidly. The wristwatch no more just showed the time. The small timepiece on the wrist now also knew the date, the day of the week and even knew whether a leap year was involved.
The wristwatch as jewelry
Today, the wrist watch is much more than a watch. The wrist watch has become a fashion accessory. Wristwatches come in all colours and forms imaginable. One can also buy harmonious watches from all fashion collection. The current watches are dominated by the correct fashion trends. Despite these various styles, there is something for every taste. The tiny watches, which need eyeglasses to tell the time, and the extraordinary big watches, which make it difficult to walk upright. By all means, one thing is certain: science is still likely to make so much advance - that the wristwatch will be seen on the wrists of people for a long time, to answer the question as to what time it is.
