All weight loss diets make you Fat
That’s right, because on all weight loss diets, you always gain it back, and usually with a few extra pounds as a bonus, so why diet?
What’s the point in losing 20 Lbs, and gaining back 25?
Are you fed up with being overweight, and sick and tired of going on diets?
Why go through all the struggles of dieting, the starvation, the cravings, and the ultimate struggle with willpower, only to gain it all back?
When you consider the damage this does to your health, it’s simply not worth it, however…
There is an easy answer, but first…
You must understand the Biggest Problem
Definitely, one of the biggest problems in weight control is the weight loss Industry!
Surprise!!!
They want you to “Fail”; otherwise they would have no more business, think about it.
If everybody lost the weight for good, the weight loss Industry would die overnight, so they want you to gain it all back, then they lay a “Guilt Trip” on you for not sticking to your diet or maintenance diet.
Sound familiar? But…
Why should you feel guilty about not being able to stick to some totally unnatural starvation diet? That doesn’t make any sense, but that’s what happens.
However most people never look at it that way, because they are so emotionally tied up with their own weight problem that they never look at it from the other side, from the Business point of view.
It’s Critical that you understand this.
So let me give you a simple example…
Suppose that you lived in a small Town which had no weight loss clinic but was big enough to support one, so you decided to go into the Business of Weight Loss. You do some Serious Research, and here’s what you find…
You have Two Options:
1. You can put together a good weight loss diet plan which loses the weight pretty quickly, and since everybody loses the weight by dieting, they are Guaranteed to gain it all back, so… You’ll have a very profitable Business for life, or…
2. You can teach everyone how to lose the weight permanently, and go out of Business within one to two years (because everyone’s Slim now).
Which would you choose?
Good question isn’t it? You see the problem!
The reality is that the weight loss industry, just in the USA & Canada alone, is worth over $44 Billion per Year, and the failure rate is over 98%.
I Rest My Case!
One of the main reasons for that, is that all weight loss clinics give you a diet to follow, no exceptions. It doesn’t matter if the weight loss diet is a meal plan, meal replacements, fasting drinks, diet pills, or whatever, the reality is…
The faster you lose the weight by following any kind of weight loss diet…
The faster you will regain all the weight
That’s reality!
Until you can accept that, you are only playing games with your own mind. The reason is quite simple, because…
Every single weight loss diet, “slows down your metabolism”, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Every weight loss Clinic would have you believe that it’s only a matter of finding the right weight loss diet for you (theirs of course).
Here’s The Secret
If depriving yourself of food (weight loss diets), causes long term weight gain, then…
Adding food to your diet will cause long term weight loss!!! THAT’S RIGHT!
It works every time, however…
It has to be the right food. In our free weight loss program, our students keep on eating what they like and we actually add (real) food to their diet, and we help them to easily change…
Not so much what they eat, but how they eat, and…
It works “every time”
Actually, we only have one Major Rule:
NO DIETING WHATSOEVER!
Instead of putting the “Focus” on destroying the metabolism with weight loss diets, we focus on…
Rebuilding the metabolism and the fat begins to melt away. That’s the only answer you know. It’s quite easy once you know the Secrets.
I realize that’s hard to believe, but how many people do you know who went on a weight loss diet, and “Kept it off”, again…
I rest my case!
The most important thing here is for you to inform yourself, and please realize that over 98% of everything that you think you know about weight loss, was taught to you either directly or indirectly by “The weight loss diet Industry”…
And now we both know what their Motivation is: “To Keep You Fat”, so that you keep coming back year after year, and giving them your hard earned money.
Make up your Mind to not get Scammed anymore.
I hope that I’ve helped in some small way, to guide you on the right path to slimming down for Life.
Have a Great Life!

Cookery | 30 April, 2008
Busy people tend to fix the same meals day after day. What’s more, busy people may panic at the thought of having guests for dinner. You may be one of these people. Worry no more, because these sweet and savory sauces turn basic food into restaurant fare. Better yet, you can make these sauces in minutes.
I made up the Warm Apple-Cinnamon Sauce recipe when my grandkids were coming for dinner. “This tastes like apple pie without the crust!” my grandaughter exclaimed. My teenage grandkids liked the sauce so much they ate dessert twice. Instead of maple syrup, you could serve this sauce with whole grain pancakes and waffles.
The Rum Sauce With Raisins is perfect for the holidays. Serve it over frozen vanilla yogurt, low-fat vanilla ice cream, or plain yellow cake made from a mix. Buy a frozen pound cake if you don’t have time to make a box cake. You could also serve the sauce over dessert waffles and you’ll find recipes for them on the Internet.
I love pasta of all kinds, especially pasta with Alfredo sauce. But Alfredo sauce is high in fat and calories, so I devised this low-fat recipe for Pasta Alfredo With Mushrooms and Peas. It’s a satisfying meal and a perfect meal for vegetarians.
Finally, I’ve included a Savory Curry Sauce recipe. Add sliced, cooked mushrooms to the sauce for extra flavor. I’ve made this sauce with mushrooms and beef bouillon (instead of chicken) and served it over hamburgers. Double the recipe, add cooked chicken, shrimp or lamb, and you’ll have enough for a family of four.
WARM APPLE-CINNAMON SAUCE
2 large Granny Smith apples, 1 large can frozen apple juice concentrate (defrosted), 3 tablespoons honey, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1 tablespoon water
Peel and core the aples. Cut apples into thin slices and put them in a medium size saucepan. Pour defrosted juice over apples. Add honey and cinnamon. Cook apple mixture over medium heat for about three minutes, or until apples are barely tender. Combine cornstaarch and water in a measuring cup, stirring until smooth. Add to apple mixture and cook until thickened. Serve warm. Yield: 10 servings.
RUM SAUCE WITH RAISINS
1/2 up granulated sugar, 1/2 cup Splenda, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 cups boiling water, 1/4 cup raisins, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 teaspoons rum, or 1 teaspoon rum extract
Combine sugar, Splenda, cornstarch, nutmeg, and salt in saucepan. Using a whisk, gradually stir in boiling water. Add raisins, butter and rum. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce boils and thickens. Serve over frozen vanilla yogurt, low-fat vanilla ice cream, plain cake, or apple pie. Yield: 8 servings.
PASTA ALFREDO WITH MUSHROOMS AND PEAS
4 ounces fresh mushrooms (half a box), 1/4 cup frozen petite peas, 1 cup skim milk (warm), 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, 2 tablespoons Wondra flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, garlic powder to taste, black pepper to taste, 1 1/2 tablespoons low-fat cream cheese, prepared wheat pasta (warm)
Clean and slice mushrooms. Put in microwave dish with frozen peas. Microwave on high until vegetables are barely tender. Drain off any liquid that may have accumulated. Cover vegetables and set aside.
Melt butter or margarine in small saucepan. Add Wondra flour and cook for a few seconds. Add seasonings. Using a whisk, gradually add the warm milk to flour mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens. Add vegetables and cook two minutes more to blend flavors. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve over warm pasta. Yield: 4 servings. Note: This recipe may also be garnished with cooked chicken, turkey, or shrimp.
SAVORY CURRY SAUCE
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, 2 tablespoons Wondra flour, 1/2 teaspoon curry powder, 1 cup water, 1 chicken bouillon cube
Melt butter or margarine in small saucepan. Add flour and curry powder and cook a few seconds. Using a whisk, gradually add water to flour mixture. Add chicken bouillon. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixtures boils and thickens. Serve over baked fish, cooked shrimp, or chicken. Yield: 1 generous cup, or about 3 servings.

Universe Of Psychology | 29 April, 2008
I used to live a simple, happy life. I call it happy, but it was
more of a peaceful life. Happiness has different meanings at
different times. Till a woman gives birth, she does not know
what is happiness of being in love with the child. Is it not
true? It was same with me.
Talking of love, I had read quite a lot in books and seen many
movies. But love, the emotion was unknown to me. Then I fell in
love and my world changed suddenly. I cannot say that I used to
see stars in bright sun light, but I can surely say that for me
the days became as lovely as the nights. We used to share
everything. I used to read my poetries to her on telephone and
she listened. That simple sharing was heavenly. The same ice
cream used to taste totally differently when we used to share
from the same cup. What she bought for me was commonly available
in the shops, but I used to wear those clothes as if they were
directly delivered from heaven.
I can go on and on about what all we shared and loved. As I said
before that I had read about love, but did not know about it. I
came to know about love only after falling in love.
Love eCard 1,
Love ecard 2, L
ove eCard 3 If you are not in love, please fall in love.
There is nothing comparable to love in giving joy. If you are
already in love, please make use of every moment to experience
it. Love comes as a blessing of God. Love is a blessing and one
need not know about heaven if one is in love. Why one falls in
love with a particular person? Why one feels different in love?
Why one likes the feeling of love more than anything else? Why
one forgets one’s identity in love? And why one dies when the
beloved leaves for no reason, is a mystery.
Please enjoy life when you are in love. Enjoy every moment and
live it. Love is a great feeling. Experience and live with love
as much as you can, before you lose it.

Relationships | 29 April, 2008
When your wedding is over, what will you have? Of course, you will have each other and some great memories, but how will you preserve those memories, not only for yourself, but also for future generations? The easy answer is with pictures of your wedding, but the truth is that it’s not really that simple. When preserving such a special and unique day, you can’t trust just anyone. To make sure that your special day is captured in the best way, make sure to choose a professional wedding photographer that meets a few simple qualifications.
One of the first things to consider is to make sure that you feel at ease with the photographer - If you are not, it will show in the pictures. When you talk to potential wedding photographers make sure that you feel comfortable with them. Is it someone that you can spend all day with? Is the photographer someone that will blend naturally with your guests? Look at the photographer’s other photos. If the photographer can’t make people feel relaxed it will be obvious in the pictures.
Another very important thing to look for in a quality wedding photographer is how organized and efficient they are. A good wedding photographer will have everything organized from the beginning. If a wedding photographer doesn’t provide you with a checklist of desired photos it should send up a red flag. A simple questionnaire about what you want will give the photographer an idea what you are looking for and ensure the best pictures possible.
Before you book your wedding with a photography company, find out who will be taking your pictures. There are many large photography firms that snap out weddings in an assembly line fashion. With these large companies, you don’t always know what or who you are getting. You should be able to work directly with the person that will be taking your wedding photos and not with a manager or sales person. If you don’t know who is going to be taking your pictures, you won’t know if you have the needed rapport with your photographer and it will show in the end.
Every couple is different and that means that every wedding is different. Of course, there are many must have shots that all couples want, but there are often unique requests. With family structures evolving and old divisions breaking down, the wants and needs are changing too. If you have interesting and distinctive wedding photography needs you will need a wedding photographer that is flexible and adaptable. Make sure to talk to potential photographers and see how they respond to odd request. This will help you decide if they have the talent and creativity to get the look your want.
The best wedding photography is going to take some time. Standing and posing for shots isn’t always the most enjoyable thing to do when there is food and fun waiting, but if you want the best photos from your wedding you should allow at least 30 minutes for after ceremony pictures and up to an hour for pre-ceremony photos. It takes time to arrange the groups and ensure that everything is in place. Make sure that you and all of your party are on time for the pictures. If people are late it will only rush the photographer and compromise the quality of the final product. After the event, allow the photographer time to print the photos. You don’t want rushed prints.
The last and one of the most important things to keep in mind is how the photographer approaches wedding photography. Is he/she just taking pictures? Or creating art? Is your photographer passionate about photography or simply just doing a job? There are literally thousands of wedding photographers that can take your pictures and do a good job. They can output posed pictures as easily as someone in an office creates a spreadsheet. To these generic photographers it is just a job. If you want something special you need to find an artist that loves photography and will combine skill, talent, and heart to capture your special day.

Here we go, I’m rambling again and I just love television! But don’t we all? Big screen TV’s, not the old CRT (cathode ray tube) ones that are big and bulky, but the new flat screenmodels. In honesty I’ve only just changed my TV because the old was still fine until the power switch broke. It wasn’t worth the repair costs one iota so I decided to buy a new TV, a flat screen TV, but I was unsure on whether to go for LCD or Plasma.I spoke to the helpful gentleman at my local TV store and he explained the main differences between LCD and Plasma to me in leymans terms. Without going into all the details this is what I found and with a nice suprise at the end!1. LCD versus Plasma on the naturalness of the picture generally says that LCD’s are more vivid, Plasma’s are more natural and real tones.2. Motion pictures can sometimes experience more trailing on the LCD models whereas Plasma can usually handle this better.3. If it breaks the Plasma would almost certainly be the more expensive one to fix.4. Like for like you will pay more money for a Plasma TV all things being equal. So that basically left me wanting to go for the LCD style of TV. Nothing wrong with Plasma at all, it’s just that if they were equal priced I’d of gone down the Plasma road but as it happens I’m a tight git! I don’t like spending too much money and this is where the suprise came in…. If I didn’t buy from the salesman and went online and used dixons discount codes I could probably bag myself an even bigger discount than this guy was capable of giving me.I finally bought my new TV from a firm called Dixons but I hope that salesman doesn’t tell every customer of his about voucher codes or he’ll be out of a job. It was a whole lot cheaper than the advertised price!

Living With Home Improvement | 28 April, 2008
Add it later. Most folks who build their own home try to put every option into it - and a few go broke doing so. If you’re trying to keep costs down, consider what you can add later. For example, if you want a central vacuum system, make sure the design includes it, but don’t purchase and install the vacuum unit until you’re into the home. The same goes for wall coverings. Paint for now and plan to add wall covering later. It will keep your building costs down and make sure you qualify for that construction loan. Depending on how tight your budget is, you may choose not to include appliances in your construction loan, rather using what you have for a little while longer and buying new ones as needed. You can even add a deck and landscaping later, once you’re in the house. Some folks opt to take out a second mortgage in a year or two, to add things they couldn’t quite afford when the house was built. If this is your plan, include those ideas in your building plan as needed.
Cut corners. The cheapest house you can build is square with only four corners. The more corners you add, the higher the cost. Certainly you want more than four walls in your house, but remember that each corner you add costs more than a straight wall. And rounded sections, such as bay windows and arched doorways, cost more than conventional walls and doorways. Not to worry, though. These are just real-world building facts. Make sure you get value for each of these additions to your plan. Keep them to a minimum.
Don’t change your mind. Changing your house plan any time after it is drawn costs money. That’s a fact. How much it costs depends on what’s involved in making the change. If you’re simply changing out one window style for another of the same dimension, the cost difference will be minimal. If you want to replace a window with a sliding glass door that opens onto a new porch, you’re talking more dollars.
Forego the basement. Basements can be practical additions to a house. Or not. If the basement in your house doesn’t have a valuable function, get rid of it. In some parts of the United States, the basement is where you live during tornado season, making it necessary. Or a basement may be required due to the building site slope. So, design the basement for multiple functions rather than just as a storage area. The same goes for all areas of your next home. Make sure it has at least one practical function.
Build up, not out. The wider your house, the more it costs. That makes sense, right? You can save money on your house by building up. A second story costs less to build than doubling the size of your first story. Why? You don’t need twice as much foundation. The first story becomes the foundation for the second story. Of course, the foundation for a two-story house needs to be designed for the extra weight and stress, but it’s still much cheaper than twice as much foundation. A higher home can also allow you to put more house on a smaller lot, saving on land costs.

Be wary of work-at-home schemes as they are not all that they
may seem. The adverts promise big monetary gain but invariably
prove to be a let down. While you may find these ads appealing,
especially if you can’t work outside your home, proceed with
caution. Not all work-at-home opportunities deliver on their
promises.
Many ads omit the fact that you may have to work many hours
without pay. Or they don’t disclose all the costs you will have
to pay. Countless work-at-home schemes require you to spend your
own money to place newspaper ads; make photocopies; or buy the
envelopes, paper, stamps, and other supplies or equipment you
need to do the job.
Here are two typical examples of work-at-home-schemes:
Envelope stuffing: Promoters usually advertise that, for a
“small” fee, they will tell you how to earn money stuffing
envelopes at home. Later - when it’s too late - you find out
that the promoter never had any employment to offer. Instead,
for your fee, you’re likely to get a letter telling you to place
the same “envelope-stuffing” ad in newspapers or magazines, or
to send the ad to friends and relatives. The only way you’ll
earn money is if people respond to your work-at-home ad.
Assembly or craft work: These programs often require you to
invest hundreds of dollars in equipment or supplies. Or they
require you to spend many hours producing goods for a company
that has promised to buy them. For example, you might have to
buy a sewing or sign-making machine from the company, or
materials to make items like aprons, baby shoes or plastic
signs. However, after you’ve purchased the supplies or equipment
and performed the work, fraudulent operators don’t pay you. In
fact, many consumers have had companies refuse to pay for their
work because it didn’t meet “quality standards.”
Unfortunately, no work is ever “up to standard,” leaving workers
with relatively expensive equipment and supplies - and no
income. To sell their goods, these workers must find their own
customers.
Here are some questions you might ask a promoter:
What tasks will I have to perform?
Will I be paid a salary?
Will my pay be based on commission?
Who will pay me?
When will I get my first pay cheque?
What is the total cost of the work-at-home program?
What will I get for my money?
The answers to these questions may help you determine whether a
work-at-home program is appropriate for your circumstances, and
whether it is legitimate.

Online Shopping Carts have become more dynamic and effective over the years. However, there are some that suffer from poor functionality, compatibility, and effectiveness.
There are sources of information on cart programs, but this will break it down for you so you absolutely choose the right one. Once you install a cart program into your website, it can be complicated and time consuming to switch it later.
If you can allow me to be “basic” here for a minute: A shopping cart program is installed on a secure server to work within your website or connected to your website using a secure link. The online cart will allow customers to choose products that they wish to buy. Once the customer is ready to “Check Out” and buy, the cart then sends the information to your merchant and processor, so the payment can be processed. Having an online Internet cart that is compatible with processors such as Versign or whoever you choose to process your credit card orders is vital.
Things to consider with online shopping carts:
- The compatibility
Do you want to offer an affiliate program, so other sites can send traffic to your website and you can pay them a commission? Not every shopping cart can handle that integration. You don’t want an online cart installed and “put live”, only to realize later that it does not integrate with your favorite affiliate software program.
Online credit card processors must be compatible to your cart software. If you stick with the top companies, this should not be a problem - but you must ask: “Is your cart program compatible with xxxx processor?”
- Who are their other customers?
Most established cart software companies will have a list of sample customers. This is very helpful in your decision making for several reasons.
One: you want to see how the cart functions “live”. Do you like the look of the screens (you can usually change the colors to suit your site), the speed - although that depends on the server, graphics, scripts and other things that may be slowing the site down, separate from the cart.
Two: Seeing the customer sites that use the online cart can also tell you how successful the cart company is. You want to try to make sure this company has enough clients. It is very important that this company is established, successful and has a track record. This is a major integration and you don’t want to have to do this all over again. If the cart program company goes out of business for any reason, you’ll have to do the whole thing over!
- See a demo
You want to be the customer when viewing an online demo of the cart. You also want to see how easy it is to log in, make changes, add products, download orders and get reports. Never purchase a cart without seeing it live.
- Features
Do you get an email when an order is placed? Does the customer get a timely email? Can it be integrated with UPS or other shipping companies? Does it allow for state-by-state sales tax? Make a list of things you would need.
- Live support
Most companies have email support and that is good, but “live support”, especially in the first 30 or 60 days is very important. Most established shopping cart companies will install the cart software for you and test it. Before or after the installation, website owners will need assistance. Even the most experienced webmasters incur issues and being able to reach someone in those times of need is very helpful. It is a deal maker or breaker for me. I want human beings!
- Price
Always a factor, right? Well, don’t let it be too big a factor here. Price is more of a concern when it includes monthly fees. Some companies will offer a cheaper sign up, but have monthly charges like a hosting company. I try to avoid these arrangements. I’d rather pay $400 and it’s mine, than $100 set up and $25 or $50 a month. It is almost always better to buy the cart outright. I’d also rather pay a little more, knowing some of that money is going towards support staff and upgrades.
- Upgrades and enhancements
Are they free? Does the cart license allow you to use it for other domains?
Like I said earlier, the choices have never been broader, but choices can bring confusion. The good part is almost all of the online cart programs have demos that you can play with and you’ll know the right one for you. Don’t be cheap and make sure you can call someone when you have problems.
Best of luck to you with your online business!

If you’re reading this, it’s because you’re interested in writing and because you’d probably like to try writing something a bit more ambitious than a shopping list or memo!
Despite what you might see in the movies, writers NEVER sit down with a pen and notepad and dash off a best seller! It just doesn’t work that way.
Writing requires planning and preparation.
Writing requires discipline.
PLANNING
Begin with a brief synopsis of what you intend to write. The synopsis should include:
* a beginning
* an end
* at least one scene
This way, you know where you’ll be starting and where you’re hoping to go. Including one scene in your synopsis helps you to focus on your characters and plot.
IDEAS
If you intend to write, you should carry a small notebook with you — everywhere you go. You just never know when you’re likely to:
• see an ideal setting for your book
• overhear a snippet of dialogue that sparks ideas for a scene
• witness an exchange between individuals that could become the pivotal scene in your book
• see an interesting face/hairstyle/expression that could be used
• read a notice/newspaper headline/piece of graffiti that could be worked into your plot
Inspiration is all around you.
NAMES
Make a note of surnames that you come across; carry a small, indexed book for this and enter names in alphabetical order for ease of reference later.
As you enter a name in your book, make a note of your ideas at the time (is this a good name for a villain, a hero, a background character etc) and note your reasons.
LOCATIONS
Keep a file of maps and tourist guides to locations that you can use in your book. Tourist guides give you details about climate, temperatures, places of interest, industries etc.
If you’re using real places in your book, they MUST be accurate; nothing will turn off readers more than obvious inaccuracies.
A basic example: if your story is set in Australia, the currency is dollars and cents, not pounds and pence.
Errors such as these indicate sloppiness and carelessness and detract from the impact of your work. The Internet has made it so easy to research these days — there’s no excuse.
If you’re using imaginary settings for your book, be consistent. Draw a map of your locations, pencil in distances, geographic features etc and then refer to this during your writing. That way you won’t have one scene where your heroine strolls between the church and her home in ten minutes and another where it takes the hero ten minutes to drive the same distance while being pursued by villains on motor cycles.
CHARACTERS
Write biographies for your main characters.
Even if you don’t use all the information in the book, it helps you to present your characters as rounded, when you have an idea about their family background, education, likes and dislikes etc.
Include:
• Age
• Appearance
• Occupation
• Income
• Education
• Marital state
• Recent relationships
• Children/siblings
• Likes and dislikes
• Favourite music
• Hobbies/pastimes
• Strengths and weaknesses
• Special characteristics (movement, speech, laugh etc)
• Favourite sayings
• Idiosyncrasies
HOW LONG IS A PIECE OF STRING?
How long should your book be?
Not as long as it takes to present the story! That could take forever.
The most popular fiction books are between 60,000 and 100,000 words and contain at least 20 chapters.
Every chapter should end with a hook — to entice the readers on to the next chapter, and the book should end with a note of finality. You don’t want your readers thinking that the last page is missing.

GM has tailor made technician training programs so as to help its dealers in developing the next generation of technicians for the future. The strategy of GM Technician Training is a three-pronged approach for enabling dealers to train their technicians at all levels from high school to college and even beyond.
For instance, GM ASEP offers training for technically inclined students pursuing a career in servicing and maintaining GM vehicles. The program is a joint effort between GM, GM dealers and selected colleges across the United States and Canada. Only GM products are taught at GM ASEP. GM ASEP allows students to alternate between attending college and working at a sponsoring GM dealership for two years. After graduating, students will be awarded an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology.
GM ASEP combines a solid foundation of analytical and technical skills, as well as math, reading, and electronics with a strong education in advanced automotive technical training. Students work and learn on the job as they earn their Associates Degree, providing them with a solid education and invaluable work experience. GM’s dedication to recognizing and supporting GM ASEP colleges and universities dates back to 1979, and this commitment has generated over 15,000 service technicians.
If attracted to the GM Automotive Service Educational Program and becoming a certified GM technician, you will find more information here.
